The course begins Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 3pm Eastern Time USA and ends on October 10th. You will get instant access to the pre-recorded course so that you can get started right away. You'll also get lifetime access to the course and all the recordings!

What will I learn in the Begin with Breath Tai Chi Teacher Training?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you haven’t received any value from this course – let us know within 30 days of purchase and we will give you a full refund.

Will I get enough support?

Absolutely! You will receive LIVE instruction from Dr. Adam Potts and senior Begin with Breath Tai Chi instructors including LIVE, real-time feedback. You can ask questions anytime in the LIVE class, in the course Facebook group, or just send us an email. We respond to email within 48 hours (but usually faster than that!) You'll also get one-on-one mentoring with Begin with Breath Tai Chi mentors.

Do I need special equipment?

No! All you need is a computer or mobile device, an internet connection, and space to move! The Tai Chi 8 Form and Tai Chi Crane Flow are both very compact and can be performed in the comfort of your own home.

It is required that you complete the training before the first LIVE session. The pre-course training should take 60-70 minutes. You have until January 31, 2025 to submit your final practicum and exam. Please allow up to 30 days for practicum and exam review. Extensions are also available upon special request. We will do everything we can to help you succeed :)

I have a shoulder limitation and can't reach up that far. Is this program ok for me to do?

Yes! Having limitations is human and will actually help you be more relatable to your students. As long as you mention what the traditional way is to do the movements, you can rest easy knowing that you don't have to be perfect in order to teach and give your students a wonderful experience :)

What if I don't pass my final exam or practicum?

This training is set up for your success. Therefore, you will be given multiple attempts and additional mentoring if needed until you pass all the requirements to become a Certified Tai Chi Teacher (CTCT).

Are there any recertification fees or required CEU's?

There is no formal recertification process or fee associated with your Begin with Breath Tai Chi Teacher Certification. However, it is recommended that you complete at least 6 hours (Live contact hours) of CEUs every 2 years. Here are some options within the Begin with Breath community: Begin with Breath Connect weekly classes, monthly workshops, and online courses.
